The Origin

iSTEEL was founded with a single driving force: to provide high-quality products that ensure every home built stands strong for generations. We embarked on a mission 20 years ago when starting iSteel, to break barriers and set trends in the construction steel industry.

From our state-of-the-art facility in Chennai, equipped with a cutting-edge metallurgical laboratory, we deliver superior quality products that ensure longer life for homes.

2007

Steel Testing Mobile Van – India’s first Mobile Testing Van to test the quality of TMT bars at your doorstep

2011

iSteel was launched in god’s own country, Kerala

2012

Launch of Readymade Steel to reduce construction time and costs

2013

Launched Earth Quake Resistant Steel (EQR) – the ideal option for areas with high seismic activity

2015

Launch of Fe-500 XLS bars enriched with Copper, nickel & Chromium that gives 17% xtra life to your home

2018

iSTEEL became iSTEEL XLS – a rebrand to demarcate our Xtra Life Steel bars.

2019

Hosted a grand Dealer Meet with the theme “INSPIRE”, celebrating partnerships and growth.

2020

iSTEEL XLS was shortlisted among the Top 10 TMT Iron & Steel Companies in India by Industry Outlook Magazine.

2021

Became the first NABL-certified steel manufacturing facility in South India, reinforcing our commitment to quality.

2023

Achieved GreenPro certification, underscoring our dedication to environmentally responsible manufacturing.

2024
